Cabela's posted their Black Friday reel this morning. President LE 30 for $40! No brainer. 

Is the Limited edition better than the XT? To me they seem like the same reel basically.

Just found this on ALX website: this rod sounds like the real deal from lots of online reviews. Lots of other models from their various lines also on sale.

Pfluger came out with the LE last year, and it did really well so they came out with the XT this year. The only difference I can see is that the LE has an actual cork grip and the XT has a fake cork grip. Cabela's must have stashed a TON of of these LE's somewhere because I haven't seen them in the stores for months.

Check out Megabass of America on Instagram, running sales tomorrow through dealers up to 20% off "while supplies last".  Not saying for sure they will be discontinued but it's an interesting development.

I have the Tour Versatile and the Dropshot, both of which I have been super happy with.  Most people seem to like the Perfect Pitch over the TV, so I have a vague plan to pick one up some day.  I was hoping to find one used, but have never managed to snag one.

Have you ever used the Orochi Spinnerbait Special? Any info would be appreciate. Would I be better off spending a bit more on a Loomis?

I don't have a much experince with higher-end rods, but I did pick up a GLX MBR this fall.  I don't have a ton of time on it yet, but I wouldn't swear that it was any more sensitive than the XX Dropshot.  

 

The "Show your Stuff" thread here has a bunch of good info about the XX rods and I want to say someone posted a litte review of the Spinnerbait Special.  

 

The advanced search function should let you find the relevant posts pretty quickly.

Its a great rod, but the sale is only 8$ less than the cabbalas website. Might be able to save even more with a small coupon

Thanks for this!  I broke a finesse rod at the end of the season and I was able to replace it with a St. Croix Avid X while saving almost $60 in the process (online order).  I subcribed to their newsletter to get an extra 10% off of the Black Friday deal.  I live in the Allentown area but I'd like to make it down to the store sometime and check this place out.

They're a great group of guys there very knowledgeable and helpful. and for a smaller building it's packed to the walls with a lot of tackle you won't find in any place locally but there. I'll tell you this bass fest 2018 which I'm assuming will happen best time to go. Lots of items on sale, giveaways and pros and reps. My profile pic with my hero mark Zona was at this year's bass fest.

 For months now I've been lookin to buy a MK Ulterra. Everyone has said wait for TW black Friday sale and buy it for 20% off. The sale comes up and they have excluded MK. I'm really disappointed. Any one know where they might be on sale?

You'll still get the discount, they just can't "advertise" it. Usually the only brand truly excluded is megabass

As it's been said before...call them. My discounts were always applied after i made the purchase.

TW sale-- per what the TW rep told me-- the sale applies to everything except Min Kota ( bummer dude ) and mega bass.  I bought a Shimano reel and was told the discount would be applied when it was shipped. per their contract Min Kota will not allow them to be discounted.

I tossed a Shimano reel in my cart. Discount was applied then. Even more than the listed sale price. Interesting that it seems to be different for everyone.
