i never made an internet meme but if i had time i'd make one that said:  I don't usually throw ribbon tail worms but when i do i like them to be free.

Yeah I just ordered 16 bags  11 ripple shads and 5 power worms. It's really a good price as is, but I'll gladly take the $40 check in 6-8 weeks!

I think I'm about to get 16 bags of power worms lol. The 10inch ones have always produced well for me in the summer. How does the rebate work if you order online? I assume print 4 rebates, then print your online receipt 4 times and circle the baits in groupings of 4 for each one of the rebates?

I hope it all works out. I was going to order at least 2 rebates worth but then I recalled how some of my rebates worked in the past. 6 weeks, 8 weeks, 10 weeks, 14 weeks, a year later, and now many years later I have yet to even hear from some companies much less get a check from them. Several were $100 rebates to.  I know in this case it's no great loss if they don't pay back but its the principal.

Yea it is a little risky but it's still a heeeelllllll of a deal even without the rebate. 100% off is great but 50% I will take any day lol. 

 

With that said I've got 8 bags of 7" and 8 bags of 10" worms headed for my house. This thread is dangerous

I've done the Powerbait rebates many times over the past decade or so.  Never been a problem.  I've always received the check within the stated time frame.  Berkley does this often enough that they've got it down.  It will work.

Heck of a deal.  I've never used it, though.  The reviews on TW don't seem the best.  Anyone here have any experience with Kanzen?

I used 15pound and it was very weak broke easily. Tried 4 times emailing Seaguar for some assistance never got a reply. Poor line, poor customer relations. Wont buy it again. Also found 30pound Smackdown to be weak for its rating(got low 20's knot strength wise) my 20 braid same dia from other brands were just as strong/stronger.

That seems to be the prevailing opinion.  Thanks for chiming in.  While I'd love 2500 yds of braid for $50, I think I'll pass.

Me too haha. It was kind of weird though. When I was selecting the worms some sizes in certain colors were out of stock which is normal, but I also had it happen where it let me select a certain color and size but then the "add to cart" button became unselectable with that combination. Most of the ones I wanted they had though. Got some grape, motor oil, watermelon, green pumpkin and red shad.

Same here, kind of a funky website. TW is still the best by far when it comes to functionality

Just an FYI Dick's has the Berkley Powerbaits on sale online for $2.50 a bag if you buy 4 at a time. So $10 for 4 bags minus $10 mail in rebate = you're just paying the tax on 4 bags! 

I ordered 16 bags since there a cap of 4 rebates per person. 

 

EDIT: I just saw j babs post from earlier, DOH!

Last year I took advantage of rebate too, bought 8 packs or something like that but forgot to mail in rebate by the time I knew, I already thrown away the bags with UPC bar code.

Looks like I have 16 bags of worms coming my way as well. I mean, aside for the $3.65 in taxes, they're free so who can argue with that...? LOL!
