Well I have many rods & reels. I am addicted to lures  and tw's really had no sale. Since I have gift cards, I will wait although disappointed. Plus they can't figure out how to have a wishlist.

Better than the SS SV for $150?  Both these reels have my attention.

The deal on the ss is better but the reel is not. The ss is not exactly  a finesse reel as someone mentioned. It holds 90 yards of #16 which is roughly the same as the 103 and not the line size typically used for finesse. It has less drag but 8lbs is plenty. I used mine for weightless plastics. All sv spool reels can cast light baits. The problem with the ss is it's made of zaion and has a very hollow feel to it. Also the spool used in it is very overbraked. I'd take a 103 10/10 times against the ss. Still a nice little reel but it was a let down to me and many others.

Very good info.  I saw the line capacity of the SS SV and thought it seemed to hole more line than a typical finesse baitcaster so I was hoping it wasn't (since that's not my jam).  Tough decision.  The SV 103 is definitely more of what I'm looking for but the SS just looks so cool haha.

I do like that fact that the SV 103 has the old Zillion frame.  Super comfortable reel.  Decisions, decisions.

It turns out that BP still has an online sale going on, but those prices are not reflected in the actual stores.  However, I found out that if you take your merchandise up to the Customer Service counter they will look it up and apply the sale price.

My favorite worms - Culprit Original - $3.97 for an 18 pack.   It's a good deal.

No doubt there are deals to be had, but people think it is similar to their other sales where most items are 10-15% off. My only point has been that you are only able to select from the specific lures they mark down and it's very rarely the most popular, most used products.

Not trying to be hostile, but stores can't have sitewide sales all the time.  TW has a massive sale on Black Friday and a decent sale for tax returns.  Some stores never have a sitewide discounted sale, much less two of them per year.

The SV105 is a steal at $180 also.

Not to hyjack the thread.....but where are you getting the info about the bigger Keitechs? as in the 6.8 and 7.8? Google searches are not bringing anything concrete up. i found links to a pros facebook page about getting to try them out (last December i believe). Im looking to buy some of the 5.8 but id prefer the 6.8 if they were available

No worries man.  Keitech USA has been posting up teasers on their Facebook page for the past couple of months, I think the release date is going to be around April or May from what people are saying in comments.  Here's a post from Jan 15 2017 where they show the bait being fished, along with Keitech's comments on swimbait hooks to use.  Bass Resource is directly blocking the FB link, if it's blocking the tinyurl just go to Keitech USA's page on Facebook and look for their Jan 15 post.

Search Facebook for "7.8 swing impact" and you'll see some pictures come up, and Keitech France even has a video from Aug 2016 showing it swimming in a tank (oh man it looks good).

Thank you very much for that. I'm really wanting to get into bigger swimbaits this year. Buying a $7 plus bait is a big step for me. I've done pretty well with the cheaper baits. But there is no denying the effectiveness of these higher dollar 7 plus inch swimbaits. If I can get 4 of the 5.8 fat impacts for the same price, to me it's a better buy at this point of my fishing hobby. But I'm even more intrigued with the 6.8 fat impacts.

Thanks again for that info!

If anyone has ever dreamed of owning a Diawa Ryoga Shrapnel now's your chance on TW, 350$ off is a hell of a deal. But I certainly won't be buying one lol.

Anybody know what the current 5$ off code at tackle warehouse is?  The FHABAQ214 code isn't working.

that code worked for me on monday. you probably can't use the code on top of the 25% off on the classic items

Hm, I don't have any classic sale items in cart, so maybe it's voided for the sale period even if you aren't getting any sale items.

If it's void it will say something like "you can't combine multiple sale offers" after you try to apply it.

Yep. I had one already and loved it.  Was looking at picking up one of the JDM versions but this sale was too good to pass up.

Between the reel and the CR721 I got from the ALF sale, I think I might have lost a little money at work yesterday.

I just scored a mint condition original Fuego from eBay for $105 AND mint T3 MX for $130 through private sale. Both are favorites of mine and I consider them both "good" deals. If they'd come any cheaper I'd be truly excited. Now comes the expense of proper handles, drag stars and  whatever else?

Does anyone know how much the TW Rod Quivers typically cost? They're $38 right now and I've looked at them in the past.

S&H Outdoors is having a sale today only - select Aaron Martin Enigma rods, Daiwa Ballistic casting rods, and Halo Inshore rods are 1/2 off.  Their website seems to be not responding right now but you can find their store number through their Facebook page.

Picked a a Curado 300E from Cabelas for $144.00 They are on sale for $100 off. I got the last one the Buda TX. store had. It was a display reel so I got another 10% off on top of the sale price. They still had a couple of the 300EJ's in right hand.

Is this in-store or online?  I know online they were marked down for a while but the 300's are no longer on the website.  For $144 I'd wipe the store out and flip them or trade them for something else you were looking for!

I literally just bought an SV103 from TW for $270 last week.  $202 today.

Call and see if they'll take care of you. They've always taken good care of my club and I.
