sbeetz Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 I am going to Virginia Beach next week, and am looking for any leads on bass fishing guides. I cant take my gear because I am flying and dont want to pay for it. I have searched google and all I get are salt water guides. Any help would be appreciated. Quote

While I'm not in VA Beach, I don't know of any bass guides. Salt water is about all that is advertised around here. That said, you could probably place a few phone calls to some local reservoirs and lakes down there to see who they know of or could recommend to you. I'm sure there are at least a few. This guy showed up in a quick Google: http://vbfishguide.blogspot.com Quote
Luna2406 Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Not sure if you are willing to drive about an hour north of VB, but here you go (Chickahominy lake is known to have some big girls in there): Weekly fishing reports provided by Capt. Art Conway of Conway’s River Rat Guide Service, launching from Ed Allen’s Campground & Cottages and Ed Allen’s Boats & Bait, on Chickahominy Lake in Lanexa, Virginia. Capt. Conway keeps a trailer at Ed Allen’s Campground and stays there most weekends. On weekends he can be reached by cell phone at 804-514-1486. He can be reached at home during the week by telephone at 804-746-2475 or by email at caconway@vcu.org. Heres the main website: http://www.virginia-outdoors.com/conwaysriverrat/ Quote
