Bass fishing in rivers.

I have a bass tracker 185. Witch is 18.5 ft long. It has a 79 inch beam with a 40 hp. I have never fished in a river. Do you think it is big enough to handle the Illinois river?

You need to be mindful of barges and for God's sake do not get anywhere near their wakes. Other than that and the Asian carp, you'll do fine
