dam0007 Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Doing some research on these as I may be grabbing 2 of them in 5:1 and only the JDM model offers lefty. If anyone is interested here's what I found are the actual differences... Enjoy JDM Tatula has a Titanium-nitride coated line guide. 80mm skeletal ‘curved’ swept handle (similar to T3) equipped with Daiwa I-knob on the JDM vs. 90mm ‘straight’ skeletal swept handle with oversized paddle knobs on the US Tatula. JDM Tatula is equipped with a lightweight ultra-duralumin shallow spool (Line cap of 14lb-100m/16lb-85m) vs. US Tatula’s ported, high-capacity spool (Line Cap: 14lb-120m/16lb-100m). Black-coloured frame (JDM) vs. Gun-metal grey coloured frame (US). Gun-metal grey coloured cast control knob with coloured accents (JDM) vs. solid coloured cast control knob. JDM Tatula has a anodized lock nut plate while the US Tatula has a handle nut cover. Weight of 220g (JDM) vs. 225g (US) Manufacturer specified max drag pressure of 5kg (JDM) vs. 6kg (US). JDM Tatula is available in 5.4, 6.3, 7.3 and 8.1 gear ratios while the US Tatula is available in 5.4, 6.3 and 7.3 gear ratios. Quote
