Tell me about the BPS Stick-O

I've never fished them. I see them in there for $10 for a pack of 30 and I guess I've just always turned up my nose at them. Anyone use them? Are they worth buying?

They are quite good. I use them a lot.

Buy a pack, or three for $10 and fish them
only for an outing and see how you do

They're perfectly fine. Get some when they're on sale, it's worth it. Obviously they're no GYB but they're worth throwing

Just kidding, they work fine for me. Rigged weightless they wiggle on the fall, and they most certainly are not as soft as senkos but I have had no issue with fishing holding on to them. I have found zero reason to make the switch to more expensive stickbaits yet.

Good baits, even though I'm not a huge fan of stickbaits I've caught a bunch of fish with them.

I have put the bps stick o against the gycb on several occasions and it has out fished it every single time. Not saying it's better, but just from my trials. It always out fished it.

For weightless and wacky rigging, I prefer Gary Yamamoto Senkos, especially in the 6 and 7 inch. However, if you are going to throw them on a Neko rig, the BPS Stik-Os are great. They are also more durable than the Senkos.

If you have some money to spend at bass Pro shops and the Stick worms are on sale....Try to pick up a pack of the BPS Swizzle Sticks...They are the 5" Stick worm with a Thick Twister tail making it different than all the other stick baits with tails like the Speed Worms, Paddle Tails, Burner worm etc...

I recently used them for the first time and you can cast them a mile, fish em like a senko, or fish as a swimming worm, wake em, or use them as jig trailers and they are nice and dense....BPS makes some good colors and the newer recipe they started I think 2 years ago has made them really good especially for the price...I buy the GYB worms when I find them on sale and I feel they are worth it since they make some niche colors and just have a built in subtle falling action when rigged weightless, but the Stick O's are the closest imo when it comes to color options and price etc...The Strike King Ocho is a killer worm for flash but are also expensive, and the Salt Lick from Net Bait is a worm that I found on clearance one and they seem to not get enough press since they are also really good....

The BPS soft baits move fast when they are on sale so if you don't get to the store quickly they often run out of the top colors but they let you order to store for free....Lots of other companies have BPS baits in their line ups and/or older baits no longer under the BPS label....

Whenever I can't find any BPS Crazy craws, Beavers, Bull Hogs etc...I just head over to the V&M section and ask for a price match....

I tried all the stick baits I could find - I was guiding and going through hundreds so I gave stik-o's a try - they worked fine and I ended up using them for myself in tournaments - there may be times the softer ones work better but I never found it so.

I buy some when they are on sale i cant say they work any better or worse than others. I use whatever cheaper at the time. Put them in front of a bass and she'll eat them.

I tried them all, but keep coming back to the Sluggo. Granted they are a little different than all the brands already mentioned, but when I want to t rig a stick bait, I always grab a Sluggo first then a Stick O. Senkos are the best for wacky rigging. Imo

IMO - Senkos work best for wacky rigging.  I don't often use them for tx rigging because they are too soft.  the BPS Stickos are in the mix for tx rigged stick baits.   I switch back and forth quite a bit, so it is easiest to carry both a wacky rig and a tx rig.

I'd have to give a nod to the sticko. I don't have anything bad to say about them, for the price they are hard to pass up. I just cant bring myself to spend almost $8 on a bag of yamamotos and this coming from a guy who has no problems spending $25 on megabass jerkbaits. My favorite color is the June bug with a close second being sprayed grass. I usually get about 2-3 fish out of a single sticko.

1 bag of Yamasenkos = 30 baits

30 baits is like 30 or 40 fish

I bet that you´ll catch more than 40 fish with that 25 bones Megabass jerk bait for years and years to come.

I've seen on honey hole all outdoors the host wear em out on sticko's. My buddy got some and loves em. They are a little tougher than GY Senkos and are a lot cheaper. I ordered me some haven't had the chance to fish em yet

Very true, plus I've found in my experience that is it worth it to spend that extra money on high quality hardbaits that will last me alot longer.

One of my oldest baits are a couple of Rapala Shad Raps ( size 5 & 7 ) which back then when I purchased them cost me the whopping amount of 6,000 MX pesos each ( it was an obscene amount of money back then, they were truly my most expensive baits for many years ), I´ve caught literally THOUSANDS of fish with those two baits including my PB. Soft plastics are not as "cheap" as many people want believe.

They're my main stick worm of choice, especially if I'm using them with a weight and fishing cover because they're more durable.
