YourBassIsGrass Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 I guess if your wife is mad that you went fishing instead of cleaning the patio, you can kill two birds with one stone? Quote
j bab Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Do people scale bass? Seems like you could easily fillet it in the amount of time he spent pressure washing it. I would also think that would give the meat a weird texture...? Also scales are going to get EVERYWHERE! Meh, either way that's a clever idea, someone try it and tell me how the fish tastes and if you really saved time. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted May 19, 2016 Super User Posted May 19, 2016 I can filet a fish in less time 2 Quote

ClackerBuzz Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 clearly this guy doesn't live where there are issues with drought Quote
YourBassIsGrass Posted May 20, 2016 Author Posted May 20, 2016 If you had 50 bluegill I could see this maybe being worth the effort of pulling out the pressure washer and firing it up. But I think a scaling tumbler would be easier to use. For one bass, eh looks like a lot of time for very little extra meat. He says he likes that he gets a bit more meat doing the pressure wash than fileting. Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted May 20, 2016 Super User Posted May 20, 2016 All the fish I've eaten in my life and to think I've never scaled or peeled one... I fillet all fish I eat. Quote
Super User Nitrofreak Posted May 20, 2016 Super User Posted May 20, 2016 And to think I have been doing it wrong all these years... 1 Quote
