Super User flyfisher Posted May 18, 2016 Super User Posted May 18, 2016 Well even though Tankie is no longer destroying my Sixers, they at least got the first pick in the draft. Now if they can just quadruple their win total they will be in the playoff conversation.....and i hate the celtics with what Ainge has done to build that team, not suck and still get a top pick in the draft. I just hope that the lakers, celtics and sixers all being the top three picks brings back to life the rivalries i grew up watching. 1 Quote
mrmacwvu1 Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 I mean the sixers can't screw this up can they I actually feel bad for them. I have never been a fan but have many friends from the area. I loved watching Dr. J and Barkley and Iverson was the best pound for pound player for a long time I hope you guys get good again Quote

How many top 3 picks have the sixers had in the last ten years? 1 Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted May 19, 2016 Super User Posted May 19, 2016 I am sure the Sixers will take Simmons though Ingram has made a strong case for #1 honors as well. Simmons is capable of playing multiple positions and has highly advanced skills in every area. Ingram is just long and similar to Durant in both build and to an extent skill set. Quote

Too many....and Tankie had a fetish for drafting overseas or injured players. I am glad that clown is gone. the only moves that he made that i can give him credit for IF they actually turn out to be a piece of the contending team puzzle are trading Jrue for Noel and getting Saric. Other than that, anyone could have done what he did, assuming of course they like losing and have no respect for the integrity of the game. Quote
Burtonxj Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Don't follow hoops too close but I know the Lakers are happy. How do you think the top 3 is going to plan out? I like that Buddy kid a lot. Gonna make sure I watch the WCF though. Pulling for OKC and Durant even though they sucked the Sonics from my hometown. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted May 19, 2016 Author Super User Posted May 19, 2016 OKC is tough and I hope they win too.... Quote
Burtonxj Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 81-62. Ain't looking too hot. Just wondering what KD will do for free agency. Quote
Super User Gundog Posted May 19, 2016 Super User Posted May 19, 2016 To me the NBA lottery is like every lottery. I'm guaranteed to lose. Quote
dave Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 A local ESPN radio show here in DC, did a retrospective of the Bullets/Wizards lottery history. The mistakes they made were horrendous with what was out there available. They actually gave up three number one picks for some trades that went no where. The NBA then created a rule, limiting the number of times you could trade your number on pick. To protect teams from their own stupidity. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted May 19, 2016 Author Super User Posted May 19, 2016 That was done a long time ago because the GM was a moron lol He was basically doing everything he could to not spend money. Quote
