Recently rediscovered the fish catching ability of the senko. Hadn't used them in a yr or so and needless to say I have started using them again. Question is, would a 6-10 or 6-8 mxf St.Croix rage casting rod be a "good" rod for primarily fishing senkos? It is currently on sale at a store near me for 65$. I'm thinking that's a heck of a deal...tell me if I'm wrong?

Sounds like a great deal.  Go for it and yes either rod will just fine as a senior rod.

Heck yeah it would especially if you rig them wacky style.  I don't see a problem.

If you're throwing one T-rigged with a heavy gauge hook then maybe a MH might be better, but I get away with a 6'9" M for this method also.

Ya I thought about that. But also thought the extra fast tip on a medium power rod may be perfect for senko fishing. Fairly sensitive blank that the rage rod uses from what I've heard

I have a similar rod that is 6' 10" M/F that fishes a Senko very well.

If you don't mind telling where you found that price I have a buddy going to be down in Wichita for a few days this week that I might ask to grab me one.
