I have 2 of the daiwa ardito travel rods that are great. Okuma also makes a Citrix 4 piece travel rod. I haven't tried the okuma but I know a few on here have.

The ardito would be a solid option. Solid connections and components with a 5 year warranty. I'd rate it's sensitivity about average for a rod in its price range. Not a bad rod by any means but nothing spectacular either.

I have a bps extreme used it for a trip to Florida.  It was decent but sensitivity isn't what I'm used too.  It was ok.

The Ardito it is!  Thank you everyone.  For a medium heavy stick should I go with the 7' or 7'6" model?  I currently have the reel on a St Croix Mojo Bass 7' MH Rod so thinking of going with the additional 6 inches that may provide some additional lengthy for when I am flipping?  Maybe it doesn't matter?

The spinning ardito I had fished heavier than rated imo.

What weights and type of cover will you be fishing?
