Well since that was taken care of, does anyone actually eat spam anymore.

I had it a few years ago for the first time in many years a couple of years ago.

We had spam eggs and fried potatoes. It actually was not bad.

LOL.........haven't thought about foodie spam in years.  When I was a kid we called it 'welfare meat' I did try some a few years ago and it made me gag.   But last week I bought a jar of pickled pig knuckles and Walmart.  Also a little gaggy.  Living near a super Walmart allows me the opportunity to sample the oddest things.   Ask me about green pickled eggs.............seriously

My wife won't allow it in the house but I love fried spam. My mom was in college nights when I was young and dad only knew fried spam, canned tamales, and SOS.

I hate the taste of traditional spam but recently had some bacon flavored spam. Bacon makes everything better. Yuuummmy was it good!

I had a moment a while back while grocery shopping when I decided that I needed to have some of the foods of my youth. I usually am very disciplined when shopping and only buy what's on the list, but nostalgia won out. I bought Spam, Potted Meat, and Vienna Sausages. Fatty, salty, and  disgusting meat-like nastiness...unwanted garbage advertising is well named.

Haha most people I know hate potted meat but I can eat the snot outta that stuff. Spread all over some saltine crackers or on a sandwich with some mayo....mmmmmmmhmmmm.

Man I forgot all about fried Spam! Haven't had it since I was a kid,and that's been many moons ago. Of course, I'm pretty sure my cardiologist would have a fit if he knew I was into the Spam. Then again, he doesn't know about the bacon I sneak around and eat:)

My girlfriend's family grew up eating raw Spam sandwiches.  Yes, that's right.  Not fried Spam, raw Spam. One of the grossest things I've ever seen somebody eat.  No thank you!

It hasn't had the key in years. It's a pull tab now. Sliced fairly thin fried it makes decent sandwich meat. I had it with several different thinks growing up but always sliced and fried.

Had potted meat as a kid it wasn't bad but now days I must not be that hungry. 

One of the things I dont see that we had as a kid was Kraft egg noodles and chicken. I occasionally look for it on the shelf but I guess it caused cancer or something because it's not in any store I've seen.

Or try this. Strain out all the spam juice from the can. Pour into an ice filled shaker and add 3 ounces of gin. Shake well and strain into a glass. Spamtini baby!

I don't drink, but I may have to now just to do this. It's awesome.

My mom used to feed that to me as a kid, yes raw with butter.
I hated it as a kid, I used to throw them out when she wasnt looking.
If I had to guess what cat food tastes like.. it's raw spam.
As I got older every time I saw that crap, I'd throw it out.

Spam is much saltier than cat or dog food...

Given a choice I would choose pet food over spam, animal byproducts and all. Heaven only knows what is in Spam.

don't you be dissin' veinna sausage.  No self respecting southern bassman would be caught dead without a can or two.
