So with water in the low 70's I think that the spawn here is about finished. The blugill beds are all full of gunk and trash so it looks over as well. The last 3 trips out have been pretty dinkful. I did have a buddy catch a 27" bass in a super super small farm pond last night but he said he saw it swim up and swirl on the surface so he grabbed a rod with a spinner bait on and let it rip and the big girl took it as it came by. Said it was pure luck as they had been fishing for several hours with just a few dinks.

Being that he is not a member here I'll post without his permission but I'll remove his head lol. I caught a 8 pounder in August of 15 and it was 26" so I'll say this one is 8.5 or 9. She's too slim for 10.

The Length tells me that she, while healthy, is still not getting what she needs. I think that fish, if fat as she should be would be 11. Then again, Im not one that knows it all but I fish one pond that is very unhealthy and the 15 inchers are a pound and a half. Look like skeletons. They have the age but not the size. Under nourished.
