USPS Priority Mail On Sunday

I have an order of rods and reels coming in. The tracking info was changed to say that it would deliver today, Sunday May 8. It is 7:00pm. Any chance ill get it today?

Some postal areas are experimenting with delivering Amazon's parcels on Sundays... was your shipment from Amazon?  I think Sunday delivery is an extra-cost option on next day "Priority Express" mail service, too. ($$$)

My guess is it's a computer glitch and you stuff will come Monday.

yesterday the wife and i took the kayaks out on the river and i noticed a USPS truck delivering....  then saw another one coming out of my neighborhood!  they must be doing some deliveries on Sundays....

Well did you get it Sunday? I remember getting stuff off amazon and it got delivered on a Sunday, forgot who the delivery service was.

Delivery on Sunday was one of the stipulations that got Amazon to push their parcels through the USPS.  I was a manager with the USPS for 31 years before I moved to Homeland Security and I was there during the testing and trial period with Amazon.  The Post Office smoked it with a near 100% on time delivery for them, and it appears they are keeping it up.
