As a kid, 35 yrs ago. Couldn't tell you much about it now. I haven't thought about Laurel Lake in a long,long time. Mostly just swam there off the dock.

Most of the surrounding area is private property.  Not sure if you can launch a boat anymore. If you are looking for largemouth in that area, Lake Audrey is a little further South. There are still smallmouth in there too.
