Been a long time follower and decided it was time to really get active on the forum. I'm a big time addict (like everyone else I suppose) to this wonderfully crazy, sometimes hectic life of bass fishing. The only thing is, this thing called work gets in my way of fishing more than I want it to. I've been fishing as long as I could hold a rod in my hand and even fished with my daddy right in the middle of a tornado several years back (we didn't know it was THAT bad at the time and hey, the fish were biting!). I have been doing countless hours of research, trying to better understand the whys and why not to try and learn as much as I can to be the best fisherman possible. Probably making it more complicated than it has to be, but I like knowing the difference in line types and when to use one type over another, etc. I'm keeping a little black book of things I know, and things I learn to reference to here and there and to help maybe teach others as I go. I'm full time military but have the dream of fishing for a living one day. I'll fish for anything that bites, Bass is my favorite, Crappie and Catfish following after that. And I like to talk, especially if it's about fishing as you can see. But this is long enough and I have learning to do. Thanks for reading and hope I can be a help here and there.
