I reach the point where launching my bass boat at Casitas alone became very difficult. The marina ramp is closing due to very low water and the old single lane coyote ramp is getting ready to open soon. The coyote ramp parking area is about 1/4 mile away from ramp on a single lane road requiring a long walk while your boat is tied to a dock when fishing alone. This means your boat is out of sight for as long as it takes to walk a 1/4 mile.....not good.

So this was my last trip with my boat until something changes, too bad because the fishing is very good!

So does this mean you may be looking for fishing partners?  I'm sure there are quite a few that would jump at the chance to fish with you and walk that 1/4mi up and back to park and retrieve the truck.  I'd fish there, just can't get past the waiting period to use my boat there.
