Can anyone explain the difference between all the different types he has. I want to expand my jig arsenal and it seems sieberts are highly recommended but when I go to his website I am overwhelmed. There's extreme, dredge, grid iron, mata, etc and then within all those there's sub categories like arky, brush, football, dock rocker, etc. I tried reading the descriptions on them but the descriptions on them all are almost identical. Thank you for any help you can give me

I use his gridiron brush jig as an all around jig, brush, timber, grass and rocks. I also use his sniper jig for more of a finesse jig early in the year and when the waters are heavily pressured as they seem to get bit more. Then there's his football jig which is great in real rocky areas with a lot of boulders. These are the three I use so I don't have much knowledge with his other ones, but  Mike makes an awesome jig and they catch fish that's for sure.

I'm with you, OP.  The descriptions are a little lacking.  I love his jigs, and they're the only ones I buy, but I recommend that you get a few different shaped heads and find out what works for you.   I fish a lot of wood and grass, and have found the Arky shape head to be best for me.  If I fished more rock than wood, I'd probably have settled on something more football-y for most applications.  I usually choose from the Storm series mostly Arky and Dredge.

Siebert jigs are GREAT. His dredge jigs I use pretty much for any type of jigging, and football jigs I use a long with the dredge jig in real rocky bottoms.

Hey MDbassin,

Here is a quick break down

Extreme  Trokar hook

Storm, Grid Iron are all Owner XXX Strong hooks. Colors are different

Dredge is Owner Deep Throat Hook

Supreme and Swim Jigs  Mustad Ultra Points

Brush head,  great jig for brush and all around fishing

Arky and Dock Rockers,  Great all around jigs, skip extremely well.

You can find awesome deals on the Siebert Site right now for some really good jigs and accessories etc...I love his Swim Jig heads with the Wide gap hook...He makes the weedguard nice and long so you can customize them, but most important the swim Jig and grass Jigs with vertical line ties can be fished anywhere anyway you choose...

I plan on buying some more of the swim jig heads since he sells them cheap in a variety of colors, top quality hooks, right size, and eyes on a swim jig just gives me more confidence....I can tie skirts, but I have never had success with any other part of making jigs...
