these are all pretty solid!  most important one for me to improve is the casting accuracy that KVD mentioned.  not that i can't cast accurately per se, but more like i get all excited and cast right in the middle of a good spot rather than working the edges sometimes and then hitting that juicy middle spot!

of the mistakes, i have been really trying to improve on the "doing too much" that Jason Christie spoke of.  And for some time now i've come around to the not getting too caught up on colors one from Marty Robinson.

Yes, good advice.

Simplify is at the top of my list, as Ive been adhering to the k.i.s.s. approach for quite a long time  now. It has worked out well for me.
