Sunline Super FC

Any of you guys using this? I use sniper and shooter and love the 2. Was thinking about trying this stuff out and found lots of good reviews but also a few bad reviews. Not much talk about the line on the forums. $35-$40 for 660 yards of FC is a great deal.

You can get 660 yards of super fc sniper for $51 on eBay. Just a heads up.

i know this! Lol been running it in several tests was just thinking about checking this out for stuff like jerkbaits seeing as how abrasion resistance isn't that important. 

Maybe also for leader material as well...

While we're on Sunline anyone know the difference between Super FC Sniper and Shooter FC Sniper? I posted this question last year and no one ever figured it out. I'm guessing Super is USDM and Shooter is JDM

The super is even cheaper on Academy's website.  I believe $39.99 for the 660 yd spools.

No experience with the new blue label Super FC, lots of experience with Super Sniper FC.

The Super is priced about 40% less than Super Sniper....give it try!

I tried Sniper after hearing all the positive reviews. I got 14# for my jig set up and it was just a tangled mess. 1/2oz jig and trailer weight, plenty of line conditioner, constant reel tuning.. didn't matter. It was completely unmanageable. 

Ive since gone back to InvizX.

Super FC sniper 

The Shooter FC sniper's diameter is a hair larger than Shooter.  You also get less line on the spool /w Shooter FC Sniper. Having never used it (and won't), I'd assume you won't be able to tell any difference between it and shooter aside from it may feel a hair thicker if you are used to using only 1-2 different # in the line. You aren't going to gain anything in using it. Stick to regular Fc Sniper and Shooter.

Not saying I don't believe you, could have been a bad spool. But I've prob been through 20,000 yards of sniper in 7, 10, 12lb tests and haven't had a single issue. I did have a bad batch of 8lb Assassin. Shooter is prone to jumping off the reel I could see that being a issue if you're not used to it, was it definitely sniper?

I use Super Sniper 10, 12 & 14 lb with 1/4, 3/8, 7/16 oz jigs with trailers for over years 3 now, making long cast often into wind. Line conditioner is important with FC and I use Tangle Free, works for me.

Pulled the trigger ordered a 660 yard spool of 10# Super FC, not Sniper. Gonna try it out. If I don't like it I'll donate it to the high school team or something. Also ordered some 12# Green Sniper to try out.

I've been using 10# green sniper on one of my DX 742 HP's this year. Same thing as regular sniper. Looks neat though.

Yes, 100%. It was my first go with it, 14#. I spooled it straight, I spooled it with a mono backing, I adjusted my centrifugal and magnetic brakes along with spool tension, used line conditioner.. I wanted this to be the line for me so badly. I never try to slate products, but Sniper just didn't work out for me. I've gone back to InvizX, and while it does stretch a bit more I can at least cast without any issues 100 times over.

I'm trying sniper this year (20lb for jigs and T-rigs) and I really like it so far. The only thing is I had a weird break off on a hook set about 10 yards from my lure on a long cast. I barely applied any pressure at all before it broke which didn't feel right. I think it was my fault, as I recall the line getting pinched in the spool on a backlash earlier in the day, but it has me on edge a little going forward.
