I am looking into getting a rod (around a hundred dollars) for heavy duty applications like frogging, punching and flipping. I am 5'7". At most, a 7'5" rod will fit in my dad's truck. I plan on using 30 pound braid on a Quantum Smoke PT 7.3:1 LH. I like the Tatula, Ghost, Veritas, ***, and several BPS rods. I would prefer the rod to be from Bass Pro (I have a gift card). Thanks in advance.

CATCH SOME HOGS!

*** is *** btw, for some reason it got changed

***

Ok i quit, its the *** rod thats 100 $

You are probably trying to post a model from that "thirteen" company.  It is a no-no here.  I like my Tatula rods, so the 7'2" or 7'4" Heavy would be my first choice.

Carbonlites are on sale via bps website. Gets my vote for 80 bucks.

No experience with these rods, but others on here have given them good reviews.

OP: Bluebasser gave you the reason why your rod selection was deleted.

EDIT: I've got a 7'3" MF original Black.  They make very good rods for the money.  Too bad they couldn't let others do the advertising for them.

Carbon Lites have been notorious for breaking with me. I have broken two 7"6" Heavy action rods. Granted BPS will replace it for free.

I like my veritas. How ever i have heard stories of bad blanks when they came out.

I have a Mojo Bass and that thing is an indestructible broom stick.
