Fishin' Fool Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 I'm trying to decide between 3 different rods for my frog setup. I'm trying to decide between: Daiwa Tatula XT 7'4" H frog rod- $79.99 Daiwa Tatula 7'4" H frog rod- $119.99 Daiwa Tatula 7'2" HFB- $106.00 Other than frogs I would potentially also use the rod for A-rigs. Should I save the extra $30 to $40 and grab the XT. I don't understand why I would need a more sensitive rod for frogging? Thanks for your input. Quote

Super User new2BC4bass Posted April 30, 2016 Super User Posted April 30, 2016 I think I read where Mark Perry mentioned he felt the 7'4" was one of the most versatile in the Tatula line up. Don't quote me at my age, tho. Memory can't always be trusted. Quote
Wbeadlescomb Posted April 30, 2016 Posted April 30, 2016 I meant I'd save the money and get the cheaper one of the 3. If all you'll ever throw on it is a frog then it'll be fine. 1 Quote
