Frog Help Please!

what tackle should im using a hollow belly frog. please help me

Fogs - oh frogs - braided line of course - my favorite frog rod is the daiwa light and tough frog rod - but I doubt they are still made - you want a powerful rod that loads up - I don't like fast tip actions for a frog rod - parabolic works best for me - you don't have to spend a bunch of money to get an adequate rig. But it needs to be a brute with some give in the tip to let them eat it.

For fishing frogs I use a Daiwa Tatula 7' 4" Frogging Rod with a Tatula Type-R reel in 8.1:1 ratio with Daiwa Samurai Braid in 55lbs

The jury's still out. I've only caught one on a jig. The butt cap came off in the boat. It took me days to figure out what it came from. I superglued it back on. I use 50# PowerPro braid. I have a Lews Tourney MB 7.1:1 reel on it.

I got better casts out of my Falcon 7' MH. But I wanted to dedicate it to T rigs.

Medium Heavy Rod that says 1/4-1 ounce or 20-25lb rod is a good start. Fast tip and roughly 7' will work, and for line, Braid that is at least 10lb diameter seems to cast the best on casting gear(40-65lb test). You can also use mono if you think it will help, sometimes it is fine and you can handle most normal type areas with 17-20lb test if you don't want to use heavy braid. 

Just match the rod and reel, line to the conditions. If skipping a small frog into tight areas, you may want a shorter rod for control, or maybe even a spinning rod. I use a spinning rod for some small frogs when fishing shorelines that are not all that rough. 20lb braid is strong even on a spinning rod if that is better for you...Some Frogs are light but make sure you look at the hooks and make sure they do not require a ton of force to drive them home...One of my favorites is a tiny frog that Scum Frog makes and it has sharp but thin hooks. It is hard to cast on casting gear but little tiny frogs are becoming some of my favorites when fishing used water and for skipping.
