Daiwa PT33SH, 7.1:1 gear ratio and 33 IPT, has a lot of interesting features like flipping switch, a really nice line test reminder in the form of a changeable dial on the upper part of the frame ( 10, 12 & 14 Lbs, how ´bout dat ? ), large line capacity, my only complain with it was that the drag wasn´t that good, but nothing a good set of Carbontex can´t improve, sure it was a macho reel for us old timers with it´s almost 9 oz it´s too heavy for today´s weight weenies.

Nine ounces and no bowed reel handle either...how would that reel even function?!?!

The same way I got through New England winters with my '72 Monte Carlo ... It just did. ?

It probably didn't have knobs that clicked when you adjust them either....totally obsolete! Might as well scrap it because there is no way you could catch a fish with it!

 

Man if we keep this up we could start writing for tackle tour! haha
