seems ok but i have no experience with them.  That paddle is also not a $300 paddle, no matter what the ad says.  I personally wouldn't offer more than a few hundred for it because you will need to replace that seat anyways

Quick googling suggests that craft if probably 15-20 years old...maybe more.   Could be tough to find a new seat.  Check all the elastic and plastic, etc real well.  Can't tell if you have room for a crate in back....looks like inside storage....sit in it and see if that works...also might be tough to find surface(s) for rod holders, ff, etc.  Might be a good deal for what it is, I have no idea...but what it is may not be what you need

I found this kayak on craigslist, and i read some reviews and they seem to be really good. Anyone used it before? I plan on customizing it for fishing if the guy will take $300. Here is the link and it comes with a werner paddle. https://fresno.craigslist.org/for/5554919630.html

what are you wanting to do with the kayak? I will assume since we are on bass resource you want to fish out of it. IMO I wouldn't recommend buying that kayak for fishing. You will end up hating it and could be dangerous. That looks more like a recreational kayak and not really made for fishing.

Its up to you man. You can never have enough kayaks. We have 5 kayaks and canoe now. If you just want something to get you started and see if you enjoy being on a kayak it might be ok and then you can upgrade. I still think you wont enjoy fishing out of a kayak like that because you will be so focused on maintain your balance. It may also depend on  your size. I'm a bigger guy hint my display name. For me to fish comfortably I want a kayak 33"-38" wide. That's where I have found I'm comfortab

Maybe you didn't read these....nothing we've said suggests that it would be a good deal if he paid you $5 to take it....if the yak sucks and you can't sell it, you've paid $200 for a $90 paddle

Check out the XCalibur and the Stealth.  Might be close to your price range and both look a LOT better than the Cobra....at least from pics :)

I don't know the brand, but this looks like a decent enough starter fishing craft, also.

Believe I saw a Wilderness Ride for $700 or less in your area, also.  Some good deals always on CL.  But check often, because the truly good deals don't sit out there long.

Yeah im not going to get it because it has no fishing accessories on it, and the plastic is very old.

Before you buy a kayak ask if you can test it. If it is from a dealer see if they have a demo day that you can actually get you on the water with it. If it is a private seller ask if there are any lakes/ponds nearby to test it out. Keep researching and looking, there are plenty of kayaks out there for a good price, especially if you find one on sale.
