Super User flyfisher Posted April 26, 2016 Super User Posted April 26, 2016 I saw this....cracks me up really. I am not sure if he can appeal the appeal or not though. 2 Quote

Me Too ~ I don't know if I can take another whole Off-Season of this In-Sanity . . . I swear the NFL is doing this to keep themselves in the news all summer - isn't the Draft enough ? Maybe Brady & Bradford should switch teams . . . A-Jay 1 Quote

A-Jay They all ready do. Have you seen the NFL network or ESPN? Its been mock drafts since a week after the Superbowl. Then after the draft. Its 4 months of they drafted the wrong person. 2 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted April 26, 2016 Super User Posted April 26, 2016 i think the recourse for brady has been exhausted now though. He will most likely serve the four game suspension because there is no way the league, after all this mess, will go back on their original amount of games. Of course with dictator goodell in charge nothing really surprises me anymore. Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted April 26, 2016 Super User Posted April 26, 2016 There are still plenty of options for Brady, thru the players union, to appeal this decision. Not a guarantee they will but I would be surprised if they didn't, especially after the chief judge voted against the NFL and gave his reasons why. This decision had nothing to do with whether they believed Brady did anything wrong, only that the NFL (Goodell) followed procedures per the collective bargaining agreement in a fair manner. Quote
Super User Gundog Posted April 26, 2016 Super User Posted April 26, 2016 Only problem with an appeal at this point is if he loses the appeal it will probably be during the regular season and he will have to serve the suspension after the first four games. Possibly into the playoffs. If I was Brady I wouldn't take the chance. Quote
Super User South FLA Posted April 27, 2016 Super User Posted April 27, 2016 Sun, Sep 18 is the only game I care about and I am glad Wonder Boy will be sitting the bench, since the Phins need all the help they can get! Quote
Super User Sam Posted April 27, 2016 Super User Posted April 27, 2016 I look to a negotiated settlement with the NFL for two games. Then again.......... Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted April 27, 2016 Super User Posted April 27, 2016 The NFL should suspend the whole Patriots organization, including old man Kraft. Hi deakn..lol 2 Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted April 27, 2016 Super User Posted April 27, 2016 This is the funniest thing I've ever seen unfurl. If you want to blame Tom Brady for the laws of physics and thermodynamics, you're essentially blaming him for being God and essentially creating nature and all the natural laws inherently contained within it. Why nobody realizes this I will never understand. Do we just not "get" how the Ideal Gas Law works still? Lol. It's been known and observed for centuries. Really though, this is why pro sports are for people with no lives. I can't take the be autocracy and flat out stupid people in positions of power creatin drama for no reason. 1 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted April 27, 2016 Super User Posted April 27, 2016 Except it isn't just the laws of gas and thermodynamics. The blindness of fans makes me laugh...... Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted April 27, 2016 Super User Posted April 27, 2016 Those who desire to see something will see it no matter what. I honestly think it's cute that it matters in someone's life. I'm not one of those people. Quote

Definitely a LOT of gas involved! Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted April 27, 2016 Super User Posted April 27, 2016 I think Brady's suspension has absolutely nothing to do with thermodynamics, the relationship of pressure to volume of any gas at a given temperature, or any other physical law. I don't think it has much to do with winning or losing either. This is about power and money. Master B, you laugh at those with no lives discussing pro sports and think it's cute. I think it's cute you are right in the middle of the conversation and don't seem to think that also applies to you! 1 Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted April 27, 2016 Super User Posted April 27, 2016 During his suspension, the poor guy will probably just have to hang around the house all day. Although it is a Big House, it's not exactly like doing time. A-Jay 1 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted April 27, 2016 Super User Posted April 27, 2016 The suspension being upheld has nothing to do with guilt, it has to do with the league having the right to suspend him which the court said, yeah they do. Quote

I could care less, but the overall greater argument at hand I find to be endlessly hilarious and so I'm always pleased in a "Mr. Burns" sort of way when one of these threads pop up. Quote
Hurricane Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 They will still win.. They have the best coach in the NFL.. They improved their roster through free agency and will probably draft well... Yeah they will miss Brady for those 4 games, but when he comes back he'll probably throw 26 tds and 3 ints ..As a Bills fan i hate it. They are a d**n good organization though.. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted April 28, 2016 Super User Posted April 28, 2016 a good organization doesn't have allegations and convictions of cheating no matter how successful. I also saw a report that said basically the league isn't doing anything else with the suspension but i am not sure if that means they are going to suspend him or not. 1 Quote
