Let's get a thread going showing off our crates.  I'll get one of mine up soon.

I'm not talking about where you keep your prisoners stored, I mean fishing crates.

My H-crate. I will get some updated pictures when I get home.  Holds 7 3700 size Planos.  The H-rail is the best part for attaching accessories.

I put all my stuff in my rod pod right between my feet inside my yak. I have 75 pounds of dog sitting where my crate would go usually. I have a crate, just never get to use it.

I don't think i have seen that H crate before...pretty slick.

It's a little more money then the Black Pak but any Hobie accessories fit on it that fit on the hrail and also has holes in the side to add rod holders.

not the best pic, but it's the old school crate, milk crate.  added the rod holders, a little divider section and some mini rubbermaid brute cans in the front to hold random items.  Also has that little bolt and wing nut deal that will hold 2 spools of line for leaders if i choose to take it.

I run an old school milk crate, too.  Love to get a Black Pak or similar, but just don't need it.

I'll have a blackpack and a panfish here in 3wks since that's what I'll be getting as my bday gift from the lady. Right now it's your plain milk crate with the bottom cut off another to act as a lid. I used pieces of bungee to be the hinges and mounted pieces of pvc as rod holders.

Regular milk crate, with DYI rod holders, bungee over the top to keep stuff in the crate. That's also a DYI clamp, so I can attach to a stump or tree or mat even without drifting off.

I've rigged a fish grip to a retractable leash for just that purpose. Works great in little creeks with gentle current.

That craye looks a lot like mine, btw!

I bought a cheap tarp clamp from the HD, and had leftover bungee from another yak project I did. Ran the bungee thru an existing hole in the handle and bim bam boom. I think it cost me 2 bucks. The crate was also bought at the HD. I used sch40 PVC for the rod holders, was way cheaper than buying already made, and now I have a 4 and 1/2 foot piece left which im gonna make a sand spike out of for when I go surf fishing. So this ten foot 5 dollar PVC tubing  saved me like 30 bucks if not more.

I have one of those three bank rod holders.  It was clearance bin at F&S, like $8 or something.  Easy decision.  I have a bunch of single ones from various crate solutions that were sent to me for "evaluation."  If you look hard enough, there's a scathing review on the interwebz by yours truly.  Something I rarely do, but it was so bad, there was no positive light to shed.

I found an XL dairy crate and I love it.  It's awesome and the extra length means it fits just enough for the combos I use.  Also if I pull one of the coffee cans a growler fits there very nicely too!

I've got a old school milk crate also I suppose I'll go take a pic of it in a little bit. I'm in the process of designing one now after work I've got one side of it done the rest have all been trial and error for thickness and durability. Making one out of Kevlar with tinted resin to make it look like carbon fiber. Best part is it's free other then my time after work.
