rburkett Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 I like the hook bonnets, they work well for me. They have 100 packs on Amazon. Quote
Czorn Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 I change my hooks every few years so it's a non issue for me. Quote

The salt from most soft plastics will eventually cause the hooks to rust if they're exposed to any moisture. I used to do that with my jigheads and found that many had rusted in very little time. Once I've been doing it long enough to determine which is the bigger PIA for me; Dealing with the tangled baits or fussing with the little rubber bands. Guess we'll see. A-Jay 1 Quote

Super User fishwizzard Posted February 19, 2018 Super User Posted February 19, 2018 I've been using the hook bonnets since I posted about them when the thread was new, and I have absolutely no complaints with them. My favorite thing about them is that it makes it so easy to let my cranks dry before I put them back in the Planos. I can't remember the last time I got a rusty hook or split ring. 1 Quote
