Bassin407 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I used to fish with my dad every weekend growing up. As time passed and I got older life become busy with school, sports, college, work, family etc. I am now craving to get back on the water. I recently got into flats fishing as well. I want to learn more about bass fishing as there are tons of lakes and ponds around me. Just went out and bought my first bait caster (lews) after only using spinning reels my whole life. Took me a few days to get the release point correct so I wasn't throwing straight into the water and getting birds nests lol. I'm learning more and more about bait casting everyday. Ready to catch some lunkers! Quote

Onvacation Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 If you want someone to explore those local ponds with you, I'll be down there in July. I was looking to do the same thing so it wouldn't hurt to have a local for some suggestions. 1 Quote

Hope you enjoy your trip to FL nonetheless! Quote
