I've yet to try that...sounds illegal in 48 states.

It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good. = Brian Fantana

oh man. That's disheartening. I would absolutely lose it if I lost my tackle. How could one insure it? Take pics? Document the purchase of every single lure you buy? uggh Alot of good advice here. I'm addicted to collecting too and trying new things all the time but now I've finally feel that I know what works for my area and species that I could eliminate 3/4 of what I've collected and stick with a few main presentations and patterns with success and no need for the hundreds and hundreds of cranks and plastics. Good luck on your quest and hearing sir.

I see combo kits all the time. Like YUM where you can get a bunch of worms ,craws , hooks weights in an assortment of colors for 19.99.  I know they aren't gycb but I catch fish on dingers nearly Everytime I throw them. Walmart has flukes for like 2.99 . It's all about whatever style you like. You can find some fishing catching bargains for sure

Ok so this week my tackle box fell of a friends boat and all my stuff collected over 25 years gone. I am disabled and doing the long wait for a disability hearing. The question is on very limited money where should I start rebuilding for bass fishing the waters in Maryland. Like I said money is limited but I want decent lures that will work. Where would you guys start on replacing everything if you had to. What would you get first, second...

Senkos

im prob late to the party but I followed these guys ^^^

3/8oz white spinnerbait

3/8oz black cavitron buzzbait

2 rat-l-traps

some of those cheap KVD crankbaits

senkos

jigs

jig trailers

plastic worms and creatures/worm hooks/worm weights.

I could live on that for a a few months.

My order would be:

assorted worm hooks and weighted jig hooks w/weed guard (for tubes)

assorted worm weights

package of 4" senkos in pumpkinseed or purple

package of 7" senkos (I like yellow but that's just me...)

package of green tubes

1 buzzbait, white/chartreuse trailer

1 spinner bait

1 frog

1 spook jr

That's my starter package. I often sit on senkos all day; you will hear that often...you can also throw senkos without any weight - they cast like a bullet and sink nicely without weights.
