Found a 18' 2003 Lowe 180W Stinger with a 2002 Evinrude E90FPLSN FICHT on it and local dealer say's that's the motor that broke  Evinrude also has 1000 hours on it. But think he was set on sealing me a boat on his lot. Anyone know anything about that motor?

How many hours is a 2 stroke good?

I have a 2002 version of this boat and it is a god sturdy aluminum boat.   As I recall the FICHT Evinrudes of that era had issues.   I would not buy that motor or any boat that it is mounted on.   If purchasing the hull and repowering it with a different motor is an option, then maybe.   I have a 2002  Yamaha  4-stroke and other than one issue it has never failed, going on 14 years now.

If the motors are taken care of, you could potentially put thousands of hours on one. As far as the FICHT, they have a reputation of being less than stellar
