Big link Anyone ever used them? Im thinking about buying one. Looks like something I could cruise around in at my grandparents lake(56 acre lake). I'd probably get the larger of the two(Stalker). Just thought I would get some input before I make my desicion. And would you think a fish/depth finder would work on this thing?

I have a boat similair to that called a Bass Baby. It's eight feet long and has two chairs also. THe trolling motor I had on it was a 34lb thrust old Motor Guide. If you want to spend the money a fish finder would be possible if you really want one. These boats are ALOT of fun to fish out of and you can also take them in lake like I do mine. For your grandpas lake this would be a very good choice.

I've fished out of these before.  They're not bad and do a decent job, but there are others out there in the same price range that offer more bang for your buck:  More stable, more storage (a place for your battery and a livewell, for instance).  Heck, even some come with nav lights and are wired for trolling motors.

There's 2 shows coming up in your area this month: The Seattle Boat Show and the Sportsmens' Show in Puyallup.  Check those out for some good deals.

I wish I could remember the names of the boats I mentioned, but you'll know them when you see them.  Definitely good for the small lakes in your area, since none allow outboard motors.

If you're looking for a poly-ethylene hull boat, check out the KL Pro 120.  I love mine.  It is 11'3", has carpeted front and rear casting decks, a livewell, you can mount a foot control trolling motor, it has running lights, and it can be towed behind a 4 cylinder car.  With trailer and gear, it weighs about 500 lbs.  I would shy away from the Briggs & Stratton 5HP outboard that is offered as a package deal though.  My dad is an outboard mechanic, so I know a little about engine maintenance and operation.  Mine has been in the shop 3 times in a year.  They only honored their warranty policy once.  They have made some improvements in the motor, but they didn't issue a recall to replace what was wrong in the first place.  There is a design flaw in the cowling that has been corrected, but originally the cowling would crack from pulling the crank start because there was no structural support around the area.  Also the shift arm has seized on me twice.  It was a pain to get them to honor my warranty.   I expect Briggs & Stratton will do better in the future, as this was their first ever outboard offering.  Maybe I just got a lemon.  The boat is awesom though.

Got this last year I did lots of work plenty more to do. Any suggestions. 20 year old ABS plastic basshunter.
