robster80 Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 my local tackle shop has a LOT of older bandit crankbaits still in stock. older packaging. discontinued colors. doesnt say where its made just says "bandit lures" on the back and the "mustad triple grip" logo on front. are these the US made ones or mexico?. are these better lures than the newer china made ones?. should i go on and stock up while i can ? Super User Cgolf Posted April 14, 2016 Super User Posted April 14, 2016 I have fished both, mostly the newer ones and can't really say that I could tell a difference catch rate wise. They have all caught fish, if anything I have a really early chrome one with the mustad hooks and the finish is pretty sketchy. If they are a good price though I would snag them, I just picked up, 24 more from Cabela's for 3 bucks a bait. Quote
robster80 Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 these are like 5.99 each. they were in a huge box not long ago for 1/2 off. ima see if i can still get some at that price. regardless ill probably pick up 5 or 6 more.. i slayed em the other day on a certain discontinued color. first time ever using the bandits 1 Quote

The 100 is perfect for fishing rivers with heavy current has a really subtle action on lakes. The Flat maxx is a really good bait too if you want to try out more bandit baits. Quote
tander Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 I used Bandits back in the 80's and 90's and I still use them. I can't tell much difference, if any, in them. Quote
