C.Devereux Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 I am torn between buying the bass pro shops pro qualifier and the pflueger supreme baitcasting reels. Any advice or experience with either? Quote
reb67 Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 I have 5 Pro Qualifiers for the money top notch. My brother give me a pflueger supreme and based on my experience with that 1 reel it would make a good marker weight. 1 Quote
Allen Der Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 you'll get 10 to 1 for the PQ because it's been out forever and is a good reel. I like the supreme and I believe it is a little smaller and lighter than the PQ Quote
C.Devereux Posted April 14, 2016 Author Posted April 14, 2016 I have a pflueger spinning reel and I've always loved it. I've heard good things about both PQ and supreme Quote
CarolinaBoy4Life Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 You just can't go wrong with the PQ. Its a tank of a reel and comes in a lot of gear ratios. There's a reason it has over 700 5 star reviews on BPS site. I have about 10 of them right now and all are being used every outing. The only reel I have that I would prefer over it would be *** but only because its size and palmability. Its also about $80 more. The PQ is onsale for 67.95 great great buy And to add I do like pfluger I have some spinning reels and had the purist awhile back. Sold it and added a PQ 1 Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 The PQ and supreme are different versions of the same reel. Only difference is features offered. Quote
