I like throwing a chartruese shad crankbait, so figured why not try it on a spinnerbait. Played around with it a little and this is what I came up with. What do you guys think about it.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I may not catch anything, on it, but I'm sure gonna give it a chance!

Monte- I try to keep them all simple. Easier to keep them consistent that way and saves time. Thanks for the compliment

Jigfish- I like my skirts that way. Eliminates the need for a trailer. Sometimes I prefer the even cut with a trailer though. The skirts do take better pictures with an even cut. When the top is short like that, the gap between the top flare and the bottom of the skirt kinda messes with the angles and reflections some.

I just think that the overall profile of the bait looks a little more realistic...if you can get realistic with a SB.

I'll use your description in the future though, it sounds a heck of a lot better than mine.

Ya nailed it. Have you had any luck with this by any chance?

Have used it on two different trips/lakes and have caught fish on it both times. So far looking good!

My first thought was citrus shad.

Yes, that's what I meant...lol I was off somewhere else when I typed the title. Didn't realize it until later and just left it. IF I ever get a chance to update my website with the spinnerbaits, it will be listed as Citrus Shad.
