ghost Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Normally this rod is $120, and bought for $64 new at a sports store. Did I get a good price for this rod? Blank is straight and don't seem nothing wrong with it. I'll have to really loom at it when I get home though Quote
Nate Stonefish Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 That is a steal. If it the new Mojo series even more of a steal. Quote
ghost Posted April 11, 2016 Author Posted April 11, 2016 I checked out rod, SCII graphite, not SCIII newer model. Most important thing, blank is straight and guides in good shape 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted April 11, 2016 Global Moderator Posted April 11, 2016 I had that rod for a few years, makes a nice rod for pitching plastics and smaller jigs at sparse cover or around docks. Quote

Id put a 7 speed reel on her spooled with #15 flour and use it for texas rigged swimbaits, buzzbaits, rattletraps and, chatterbaits. Tight Lines and Heavy Bags 1 Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted April 11, 2016 Super User Posted April 11, 2016 Yep you got a good deal even though it's the older model! Enjoy your new purchase! Quote
jbw252 Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Good deal on a good rod. Now take it out fishing! Quote
Kevin22 Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 That would be comparable to the OLD mojo bass spinnerbait rod (7'MHF). I use mine for... spinnerbaits.. and it does well for that. A little tip heavy like most mojo bass rods, but other than that they are pretty nice rods! You did very good. Quote
