WooHoo! Got weather on my Lowrance

I was able to add the ability to see my engine information on my Lowrance HDS Touch 9 Gen 2 in the last 8 weeks.

Now I have added weather to my Lowrance!

Thanks to a very good friend that stopped using his LWX-1 and let me have it at a very fair price.

i was very excited.....I have been trying to find one for the last 2-3 years. I could not stomach the cost of the new units.... $$$$.

I just picked up a HDS 7 Gen 3 with the structure scan 3d, and i picked up the $200 cable to link my Motorguide XI5 to my unit, only to find out out I gotta spend another $70 on NEMA stuff, not happy

You're a lucky man! I wanted to do that with mine too, but unfortunately I couldn't find a new or used LWX receiver. I also couldn't imagine paying $700 for the new one they have. Most lakes around me I can get ok cell reception so I can just use my phone, but there's several that I don't have coverage and it'd be great to have that.
