I took advantage of the recent Sebile sale and bough three of their "squarebill sunfish."  I received them today and immediately noticed a few things.  For one, when I was carrying the box they were shipped in inside, I noticed the rattles were very, very loud compared to my other lures.  This may or may not be an advantage, depending on the situation.  Otherwise, the quality looks good and the paint jobs on the ones I got are nice looking.  I don't have too many hardbaits to compare them to, but I think that they were a good buy for $2.44 each and I will probably pick  up some more if they're still cheap.  I'm really anxious to get them in the water. Anybody else have thoughts on them?

I bought some of them and they are decent. I'd file them under the "If you do your job they will do theirs" which is everything I've ever owned besides the Helicopter Lure.

We'll see...I haven't fished them yet, but I wasn't too impressed with them in the pool. Lot's of back & forth action, but like a lot of cheap lures, nothing erratic or novel. I probably would not have bought them if I had seen them in action first.  A feature that may be good or bad is that the lure swims VERY shallow and immediately pops to the surface.

I will post results after fishing the lure and hope you guys will, too!

All I know is that they have been on every stores clearance rack for months....and people are not buying them no matter how low the price goes...I loved the first run of Sebile Products, but have not tried the action series stuff, but for $2-3 I am sure they will catch fish and if you lose one it won't get you mad..The colors look good, I am sure they are decent....

For some reason that action series just didn't catch on but I have heard people say that the tungsten weighted lipless crank is decent. I like the color patterns they offer, they look different which could be helpful.
