I.rar Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Yo fam, while shopping for a strap, I came across this gem. It's too bad real hunnids aren't included. http://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/products2.cfm/ID/169719 2 Quote
Crappiebasser Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 That's my EDC weapon! I have a smaller 380 version covered in $20s for when I need a smaller CCW. 3 Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted April 9, 2016 Super User Posted April 9, 2016 It appears the folks at Hi Point have a sense of humor. They also know their target demographic... 3 Quote
nick76 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I am surprised that thing doesn't come with peel and stick serial numbers. Would make it easier to get rid of. 2 Quote
crazyjoeclemens Posted April 25, 2016 Posted April 25, 2016 When I took my CCW class, there were a few there who had brought Hi Points. I could see the instructors rolling their eyes when they saw them. After several FTE's, stovepipes, and various other general failures, I decided that Hi Points are far more effective if put in a sock and used as a bludgeon... 2 Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted April 25, 2016 Super User Posted April 25, 2016 When I took my Concealed Carry course a man and his wife showed up for the shooting qualification with two brand new pistols, a 40 mm High Point and a Glock 380 (G42). Neither pistol had been inspected, cleaned, lubed, or fired. The Glock ran flawlessly after the instructor showed the woman how to hold it properly and applied a couple of drops of oil to the slide. The husband got the same treatment for his 40. His results were not nearly as good, but it seemed to shoot fine for the instructor. They obviously had the money to buy two good quality guns. Buying a 40 mm High Point for concealed carry is like buying a brick to hammer finishing nails. If that was as good as he could afford it might be better than nothing. Even then, showing up for a concealed carry qualification class without ever taking the gun out of the box baffles me... 1 Quote

Super User clayton86 Posted April 28, 2016 Super User Posted April 28, 2016 I seen a hilarious meme about hi point guns but it would definitely get me banned Quote
Super User Gundog Posted July 24, 2016 Super User Posted July 24, 2016 I don't know why anybody would use a gun with such a bad reputation. I understand that they are inexpensive but wouldn't you pay the extra money for something you may use to save your life. Quote
Squints7 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 I'm not even sure what I just saw..... Just.... Wow Quote
Super User DogBone_384 Posted August 5, 2016 Super User Posted August 5, 2016 Thankfully it's not on the approved firearms list here in MA... http://www.mass.gov/eopss/docs/chsb/firearms/approvedfirearmsroster03-2016.pdf Quote
