Best line combo for 3 rod setup?

Alright everyone I need some insight here please. I am relatively new to serious bass fishing and I need some help. I have 3 rods to use this year and I am looking for a good setup of line to use for each one so I can cover most of the fishing lure spectrum. My setup I have now consists of 2 bait casters (one 6'6 medium with 12 lb mono at the moment, the other is a 7' MH with 65lb sufix 832 braid). I also have a 7' spinning rod that I have no clue what line is on it. My question is what would be the best line combo for all three rods to be able to fish about any type of lure effectively? Please let me know what you think! Thanks.

Personally I don't think there is any "one" line that I would use on all three rods.  I prefer an 8# mono or co-polymer on my spinning rods.  I do have braid on a couple, but still prefer the 8# lines.  I think you have the other two rods covered pretty good.  Personally I prefer 40# braid.  Can pull a stump out of the water with that.  Have a hard time imagining a use for 65#.  I mostly use 8# on my Medium power b/c rods as well, but then I am not restricted to just 3 rods.  I feel your selection of 12# mono is a better all-around line if only using 3 rods.

Thanks for the welcome and the reply. I am not trying to use the same line on each rod, I more or less was asking what would be the best different lines to put on each of my three rods to be able to effectively use all of them with most lures and types of bass fishing.

Okay.  Passed through Oklahoma once....in the '70s, but was working not fishing.  No idea what kind of waters you fish.  I still like the 12# mono on the Medium casting rod as a good all-around line.  If you want to try something other than mono, I have been using 12# AN40 on a few rods since last year and like it a lot.  Yo-Zuri is a favorite of many on this site.  I would drop down to 10# if using it as Yo-Zuri is quite a bit stronger than its rating.  Still think 40# braid is a better choice than 65# braid.  What kind of cover are you primarily fishing?  Helps in determining line choice.  I use braid when fishing in heavy weeds and lily pads.  Otherwise the majority of my MH casting rods have 12# mono or co-polymer on them.  Sufix Siege is a favorite.

For the Medium power spinning rod my choice is still 8# mono.  An ex-tournament fisherman friend tells me Spiderwire Ultracast Ultimate Mono is the best mono he has every used.  I've got some 10# on a new-2-me b/c rod, but only have had a chance to use it maybe twice so can't comment on how good it may be.

However, if you like braid, then my first choice on a Medium power spinning rod is 15# braid.  Sufix Performance is a good reasonably priced braid.  It is an older line.  I have been using it for several years on one of my b/c rods.  It was the first braid I ever bought.  The 832 is newer and what I am using on one of my spinning rods (10# on a Light rod).  My other spinning rod with braid is a MH Jig and Worm rod and has a 30# braid on it.  The brand on it is not a favorite of mine.  Will be dropping down to 20# 832 or similar line when it needs changing.

It's really personal preference but if those were my combos, I'd put 8 lb mono on the spinning rod, 12 lb mono on the the med action casting rod and 14 to 17 lb flourocarbon on the the medium heavy setup. I prefer floro to braid but it depends on how thick of vegetation you are fishing.

This is easy.  Put braid on all your reels and use leaders.  That way you can use mono, floro or copolymer if you'd like.  40 lb braid would be good for your bait casters, for your spinning go with 15.  

Further doing it this way, your braid will last a long time and it helps save money by using other lines as leader material instead of constantly changing your line.

I keep it easy. Spinning rod; 8# mono or #10 braid. One baitcaster; #30 lb braid for deep fishing like jigs. The other; #12 mono for cranks and top water.

Braid with leader on all 3. I couldnt go back to flouro or mono after trying braid. Especially on spinning gear

Thank you all for the replies and information. The majority vote seems to be braid for both of my bait casters. That being said would my 65 lb sufix 832 be good with a 17 or 20 lb  fluoro leader? And what would be the best for the other? It sounds like maybe 40 lb braid with a 10 or 12 lb leader?? Then I was also wondering when would the spinning setup be more useful than the casting rigs?
