I tried this rig for the first time today and wow am I surprised at its effectiveness. I caught a new personal best in a relative's pond (I was fishing alone so the picture isn't great). They always seem to hit it as the lure is falling. Needless to say, I am very pleased. I would definitely recommend this to everyone!image.jpeg

Congrats man. See a bloody tail, did it look like it had been faning?

Say it with me now;

"The Ned Rig only catches little fish".

Congrats on the new PB.

I'm actually not sure what that was from. It had a small cut on the other side of its tail. Maybe it happened when I wasrfeeling it in, but it didn't appear to be too serious.

Congrats on the new PB.

That's what everyone keeps telling me, but I keep catching pretty chunky ones on it!

It's not true at all, but keep telling them that so they don't bother fishing it.

+1

I've been catching smallies left and right wit them.

Buddy of mine caught a perch, LMB, SMB, a pike, and a crappie on them...within a few minutes.

Almost got a sunny on one too, let go right before I could pull him out lol.
