Fishwhittler Posted March 5, 2011 Posted March 5, 2011 That's probably the best paint work you've posted here. Great job! 8-) Quote
bradbass Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 what kind of paint are you using? I have some old crankbaits that I would love to repaint, eiter a new color or pattern. Can you give me any advice as to how and where I can get the supplies to do so. Quote
FourCorners Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 wow this is a beaut! Did you use a template for the fine lines on the side or do you just have a steady hand? I'm still learning with a paintbrush and have had some trouble with fine lines despite thinning my paint and lowering pressure. I think my tip's too wide at .5. Again though, great looking bait Quote
BIG M Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 very nice color pattern, the work looks very clean. Quote
BassinWill301 Posted March 9, 2011 Author Posted March 9, 2011 Thanks guys! I really appreciate all the comments. @bradbass- The paint I am using is createx and Wildlife colors. I buy wildlife colors from taxidermy.net, and I can get createx from craft stores like Michaels. Quote

Again though, great looking bait You can get the vertical bars by shooting through a comb. Just play around with different sizes. Do try to shoot fine lines freehand. There are not many people in the world that can do that. Just get you a straight edge or make you a template. It will make everything much easier. Will...nice job on the bluegill Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted March 25, 2011 Super User Posted March 25, 2011 That's a beautiful bait!!. Nice job. Falcon Quote
