Well it is open, but only on certain waters. Including waters around me. I could go my self for a few hours this weekend. I just don't think it will be worth it. Its going to be cold like in the 30s. Ice out only happened about a month ago. Then with all the snow melting. The rivers are way high. Instead of fishing. I went out and bought about 60 dollars worth of blu rays. In my eyes totally worth it.

Sounds a lot like winter up here. Some times winter comes early and stays late.

Go fishing!  One of my top three best fishing trips was when the air is 25 degrees and sleeting, I had to break through ice with my canoe that day.  Just slow down and you can always catch fish.

Yes. You could spend copious dollars and go to
warmer climes with bass trained to bite every lure
that enters the water. *cough* *baccarac* *cough*

Or

Play PS4 games and/or watch movies. You pick.

Wait! You could set up a bucket in the back yard
and practice pitching and flipping. OR you could
save up $$ to go to "massive bass-in-a-bucket"
locales that A-Jay and the other boys go to.

Hey, your choice :)

If I had a driver's license, I would pick the "massive bass in a bucket lake" and probably find out they weren't as easy to catch as it looks!

I don't think my Irish skin would like Mexico. I think I would have to look like this to fish down there.

I can fish all year. The river never freezes, and its open season all year. I think the only thing I can not target are Muskies. Just makes it hard during the winter. I can almost walk across it in January. Becasue the dam up stream closes all the gates. It becomes a mud pit. With rocks the size of car engines then.

Hard to slow down around here. All the water unless they are spring fed. Are rivers with dams. Since the water is high right now. The current is way to strong to slow down.

I have never seen the hurt locker or mad max. The hurt locker was not the reason why I got the bundle. I spent 20 minutes digging in a 8 dollar bin. Just trying to find any good movies. All I found was full metal jacket and the hurt locker double movie. Mad max was a suggestion from a friend. As for star wars. I saw it in the theater a few months ago. I Noticed it was really dark and foggy. I figured it was made that way. After I saw it I asked a few friends about it. They all said it was not that way when they saw it. Becasue the theater had a bad copy. That is the reason why I got it.

They are talking snow rain mix Sunday. I think like 1-2 inches of snow tonight or tomorrow night. I am not sure. I don't really pay to munch attention to the forecast. I really only care about the temps.

Not.  :D

I don't know you could be. I want to go on Maury, and prove you are the father. Then I want back child support, or a Porsche gt3 rs. I bet the Porsche will be cheaper.

We have not had usable ice since mid February. Ice was also melted by march. It don't matter though. I can't stand ice fishing. I know its WI's favorite thing. I just found it boring and dull. I like to move around and cast. Just not sit there and jig, or watch tip ups.

I will admit I enjoy caching pike that size on bass gear.
