So I just went to bass pro and bought my self a plunger supreme. I feel it at the store and the reel feels fine when I feel it but heir was a little bit of abrasiveness to it, but nothing major. I brought it home and reeled it for a little bit and it just started to get worse and wose. Now when I reel it is very noises. Is this normal for these reels?

Thanks, Jackson

I own several Pflueger spinning reels. No, it's not normal. Box it back up & exchange it for another one. They're great reels.

Take it back & get another.  Don't give up on Pflueger - they're great reels in my experience.

.. I bought it and was like well this sure doesn't live up to the hype

That's how I felt after buying most of my shimano reels:D

The supremes are definitely smooth, exchange it and make sure the reel you exchange it for feels smooth before you leave.

Don't know what the exact return policy is but I took stickers off of a seat I bought and returned it, no problem. I believe they will take it back as long as you have they receipt especially if something is wrong with it.

You're going to fish with a reel that isn't functioning correctly? You're asking for heartbreak.

BPS will take it back and exchange it for you with the receipt and box for sure.

Just open it up, spray it full of W-40. it will be fine.  NOT!  Take it back, now!  Even a President is very smooth.

they're great about returns... never had a problem with them taking something back.  i understand you want to use it or feel you need to use it this weekend, that said, if you're going to fish with it knowing you're going to take it back, that's asking for karma to kick you right in the ***....  just my opinion
