Pbkiller123 Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 So I just went to bass pro and bought my self a plunger supreme. I feel it at the store and the reel feels fine when I feel it but heir was a little bit of abrasiveness to it, but nothing major. I brought it home and reeled it for a little bit and it just started to get worse and wose. Now when I reel it is very noises. Is this normal for these reels? Thanks, Jackson Quote
Super User DogBone_384 Posted April 7, 2016 Super User Posted April 7, 2016 I own several Pflueger spinning reels. No, it's not normal. Box it back up & exchange it for another one. They're great reels. 1 Quote

I believe they will take it back as long as you have they receipt especially if something is wrong with it. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted April 7, 2016 Global Moderator Posted April 7, 2016 You're going to fish with a reel that isn't functioning correctly? You're asking for heartbreak. BPS will take it back and exchange it for you with the receipt and box for sure. Quote
Pbkiller123 Posted April 7, 2016 Author Posted April 7, 2016 It's not truely broke, it just noisy. Quote
Fisher-O-men Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Just open it up, spray it full of W-40. it will be fine. NOT! Take it back, now! Even a President is very smooth. Quote
