Anyone have experience with Hedge-Hog air ceramic and the Boca orange seal ceramic abec7? Would I notice a difference between the 2?

I'm not sure about the yellow seal but I have the HH air and a bunch of orange seal bearings.  I honestly cannot tell the difference.  Both have been great upgrades.  With that being said if I were to start over again I'd save the extra $$ and just go with the Boca abec 5's.  I personally do not see the difference in performance between the reels I have with those 3 types of bearings in them. YMMV

They're both good bearings. As always I'll recommend flushing the stock ones before doing either. Even if you decide to proceed you get a more accurate picture of what you're gaining.

Likely, not.  I have ceramics in five of my reels. Three have Boca's and two HH  and the only time I can tell the difference is when I open them up to clean them.  One thing you will notice for sure is the noise the ceramics make. I'm half deaf, so it doesn't bother me, but it drives my partner nuts (I make sure I'm always using them when we fish).  :happy3:
