CDMeyer Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 I would get one that Bass Resource makes, as well as a lot of companies sell "jerseys" with their company logo all over it, these look pretty cool. Quote

BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted April 5, 2016 BassResource.com Administrator Posted April 5, 2016 No. You need to seek permission to use any logo, including ours. Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted April 5, 2016 Super User Posted April 5, 2016 I don't get to this section of this website very often, but it is early am and I just got home from work and I'm just looking. I've got to ask, "If it ain't part of your job to wear a jersey and pimp products, why would you want to?" The coin that you'd spend on a product pimping jersey might be better spent on some good weather appropriate outdoor gear that will contribute to your comfort while you're outdoors and therefore contribute to your fishing success? JMO For the record, I'm a geezer and I've always needed a very good reason to wear some one else's logo without compensation. 2 Quote

If I had a sponsor I'd wear thier logo's on my underwear if they wanted me to. But to give some major corporation free advertising for thier product line when I'm already contributing to thier profit margin buy buying thier products.....Sorry, baby may need another pair of shoes. Super User QUAKEnSHAKE Posted April 5, 2016 Super User Posted April 5, 2016 I see it no differently than posting on websites free publicity recommending whatever brand rod/reel/line/lure you like and paid for the privilege to use. This actually has more benefit than a person buying a shirt. You are being an ad for the company both ways not getting paid but shelling out the dough. Quote

Mike Do you cover up the brand of your shoes, pants, shirts, tackle equipment you use, vehicle you drive and all that? Everything you do is advertisement for something, trust me. Quote

RichF Posted April 7, 2016 Posted April 7, 2016 Joe Balog has a pretty interesting article on this subject that posted on another site today. Worth the quick read. http://www.another site.com/docktalk_article/15423/balog:-jerseys-for-everybody#.VwaRkU3mqUk I think you should be able to wear whatever the heck you want on the water. If you wanna shell out the $$ for a jersey with your favorite brands on it (even though you're not sponsored) I say "whatever makes you happy." I wouldn't. But I also won't knock guys that do (unless you act like something you're not). 1 Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted April 7, 2016 BassResource.com Administrator Posted April 7, 2016 Regarding "asking permission" - if you order through RayJus, they do the "asking" for you. So there's no need to go to each company, try to find a contact, email, wait, etc. etc. Instead, it's just part of the order process. Hope that helps! Glenn 1 Quote

I peel the dealer stickers, plate holders, and the tires are installed with the white letters inside. Nothing I can do about the "GMC" though the look is pretty ubiquitous. Anyone that knows trucks, knows their Chevy/Ford/Dodge/Toyota distinctions. 1 Quote
