The Bass club I'm in is having a members only tournament at Pickwick lake Tn. and were launching at yellow creek(state line ) on the Tn. side on April 10th.Does anybody have any tips for yellow creek for this time of the year. The water level should be around 412.

You should be able to pick up a few around the docks. From there I would target Dry Creek, especially the gravel bar at the mouth (up river side). Then fish around the docks on the other side of the mouth and around the bluff moving downstream.

Dan...last time I was there was this time of year and had some decent success by fishing the Leeward Creek Points with ballhead jigs tipped with everything from swim tails to senkos.....it all worked with a little patience...Hope this helps...

Thanks for the info Grampa. Any and all information is a plus in my book. My team mate asked me the other day what my game plan was and I just laughed  at him . He knows the lake and just wanted to hear what I had to say.. After RW input and studying Google Earth I started to tell him what I thought. Before I could get the words out of my mouth he laid it out just about the way I was going to tell him plus some. I let him do what most boaters won't. I let him run the front. The way my hands are and my eye sight is it takes me a long time to re tie and he is a lot faster. It works out better that way. Thanks Dan
