68Dave and I are trying to get a Pelican Bass Raider/Plastic Bass Boat Meet Up/ fun Tournament going. We chose Lake Redman in York PA as the site and  Sunday May 22 as the date.

Show off your mods and Bass skills! If you all want to throw in $20 for a winner take all contest, I'm good with that. Lake Redman is a  designated Big Bass lake by the state of Pennsylvania. All makes of plastic, electric powered mini bass boats are welcome.

It was ok. If I can remember we would normally catch a few but I cant remember any monsters.  I didn't fish it as much as lake Marburg in Codorus state park on the southside of hanover

Lake Redman should be fun. I visited Codorus State Park last Saturday. Wife and I went hiking then checked out the overlook to see the eagle's nest. A lot of people were fishing there. Wife and I are planning a camping trip there soon. We already reserved a campsite at Gifford Pinchot State park for a extended weekend in April. I'm gonna shoehorn my Pelican in the back of my Tacoma somehow while towing my camper lol. PA has a lot to offer when it comes to camping & fishing, we love it up there.

Thanks. You know i only paid $500 for my Tacoma. It was towed into my work with a dead motor due to a neglected oil leak. PO didn't want to make the repairs and was gonna sell it to Crazy Rays, a local pick-N-pull salvage yard. I bought it and installed a 69k mile motor that i had shipped to me from a Arizona salvage yard. After the motor install i upgraded the suspension with a 3" lift, new wheels/tires and larger front brakes from a Toyota tundra. I love this truck. I'm wrenching on a 4runner now.

I think something like total length of however many you catch. I have seen tournaments where you photograph the fish on one of those measuring boards with a sticker attached with the event name on it.

BTW I'm coming from like 150 miles, C'mon you can do it!

what kind of camper is it? its really cool. I like single axle smaller campers instead of those giant 5th wheel jobs. After all isn't the idea to be outside?

It's a 2014 Casita Spirit Deluxe 17ft'er. It has a wet bath with a standard size toilet and a shower. It sleeps 3 comfortably.

Thanks, my wife and I love this little camper. Just wish we had more free time to use it! Some of us guys from tacomaworld.com forum have planned a camping & fishing weekend at Gifford Pinchot State Park in York, Pa. weekend of April 22nd. Friday thru Sunday. Those guys have fishing kayaks. Should be fun if anybody here is interested.

Well, it looks like this meet up idea is dead in the water, as they say. Maybe next year.
