BuffaloBass716 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 So I have no experience making any type of lures but these novelty lures seem fun to make, plus I drink a ton of different craft beers. I don't expect much with these if I decided to use them, but again its more for the fun of making something out of what would normally be trash and catching a fish on something I actually made would be very rewarding. Anyways, do you guys have any tips on how to make these? What would I need? Also, let me know if you've had any luck with a certain way of making them more successful. Quote
IndianaFinesse Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 I have never actually made or used one, but I highly dought how effective they would be. Quote
Dyerbassman Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Google it and there are hundreds of ideas. And yes, it does work. A flash of a bottle cap is similar to a flash of spinnerbait or a bladed lure and fish will hit it. It's a fun novelty that actually works at times! Quote
Brayberry Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 I've made a few dozen of these, pretty easy to make. I've caught decent fish with them playing around, mostly crappie, bluegill, bass, and pickeral. Quote
